2. Information collected when you visit
When you open this website, your browser automatically sends technical information to our hosting provider: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring website, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure. Log files are kept for no longer than 30 days and then deleted. Legal basis under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.
Hosting provider: Render Services, Inc., USA. Data may be transferred to the United States. Render is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; we have concluded a data processing agreement with Render.
3. Images
Product and lifestyle photos on this website are delivered by the content delivery network of Shopify, which also hosts our German store ehrenkind.de. To display the images, your IP address is transmitted to Shopify. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in fast and reliable image delivery.
4. Fonts
All fonts are stored on our own server. No connection to third-party font services is made.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies, does not store any information on your device and does not track your behavior across websites.
To understand how our website is used, we use the cookieless analytics service Umami Cloud, provided by Umami Software, Inc., USA. Umami records which pages are visited, the referring website, browser, operating system, device type, approximate country and clicks on links to Amazon. Your IP address is only processed briefly to deliver the request and derive an anonymous visitor count and approximate location; it is not stored in the analytics data. We only see aggregated statistics and cannot identify you. Analytics data is retained for 12 months and then automatically deleted. Data may be processed in the United States. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Umami. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our website.
6. Links to other websites
This website links to Amazon.com, ehrenkind.de, Trustpilot, kununu and Instagram. When you follow a link, the operator of that website is responsible for any data it collects. Links to Amazon may contain a tracking code that lets Amazon tell us how many visits and purchases came from this website. We only receive aggregated numbers, never your personal details.
7. Contacting us by email
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. We delete your message when it is no longer needed, unless we are legally required to keep it.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. To use these rights, email info@ehrenkind.de. We will respond within 30 days under GDPR, or within 45 days for U.S. state law requests, and will tell you if we need an extension.
You may also complain to a data protection authority. Our supervisory authority is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
9. Information for California and other U.S. state residents
When U.S. residents visit this website, we process the following categories of personal information as defined by U.S. state privacy laws: (a) identifiers, such as IP address; (b) internet or network activity information, such as pages visited, the referring website, approximate country, browser and device type. We use this information to operate and secure the website and to understand aggregate usage. We do not sell or share personal information, we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not profile you for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not collect sensitive personal information.
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise these rights, email info@ehrenkind.de. We will confirm receipt and respond within 45 days; we may extend this once by another 45 days if we tell you why. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for written proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond to appeals within 60 days (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut) or within the time required by your state's law.
This website does not respond to "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" (GPC) browser signals, because we do not sell or share personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Our products are made for children, but this website is intended for parents and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
